What started out as an April Fools prank back in 2019 is now a real thing. For a limited time you can get a pickle flavored margarita at Taco Cabana restaurants to take home and enjoy while watching the latest movie on Netflix, HBO Max, or Disney+.
Taco Cabana originally teased the pickle margarita as an April Fools joke on their Facebook page back in 2019. Now, two years and most of a pandemic later, the Texas-based restaurant chain has decided to go ahead and combine two things Texans absolutely love – margaritas and pickles. The pickle flavor is courtesy of another Texas brand, Best Maid Pickles.
These adult drinks are limited time only, but we are not sure when they will stop serving them, so if you want to try the pickle margarita it’s probably best to do it sooner than later.
Taco Cabana locations are found all throughout Texas, largely centered around the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex, Houston, San Antonio, Austin – Round Rock, and El Paso areas.
