On September 1, 2026, McDonald’s launched a new Texas Meal, a limited-time offering available exclusively at participating restaurants across the Lone Star State. Along with nuggets, fries, and a drink, the promotion includes a series of collectible cups celebrating different regions of the state.
The Texas Meal includes a 10-piece order of Chicken McNuggets, and customers can choose between the classic version or Spicy Chicken McNuggets. The meal also comes with medium fries and a medium drink. The promotion gives the meal something of an adult Happy Meal-type feel, especially for Texans determined to track down all seven designs.
Customers who order the Texas Meal can request one of seven limited-edition collectible cups, each featuring artwork inspired by a different part of Texas. The collection represents Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Central Texas, East Texas, West Texas, and the Rio Grande Valley and South Texas. Texas-based artist Avery Orendorf created the cup designs, using regional landmarks, culture, and scenery to give each cup its own personality.

The Texas Meal also arrives alongside the return of Spicy Chicken McNuggets, which McDonald’s originally introduced in 2020. The spicy version takes the familiar chicken McNugget and adds a tempura coating seasoned with cayenne and chili peppers. McDonald’s has also brought back its Mighty Hot Sauce, pairing red pepper, chilis, and garlic with a touch of sweetness.
