On Thursday, December 12, 2024, beloved Uptown Dallas bar Thomas Avenue Beverage Company opened again, a revival by seasoned bar owner Eddie “Lucky” Campbell (known for The Standard Pour and Parliament). The original Thomas Avenue Beverage Company launched in 1995 and became a popular hangout until it closed in 2013. The century-old building, located at 2901 Thomas Avenue, was renovated to create the new upscale neighborhood bar. The white brick building exudes a mid-century Hollywood charm, with plush dark burgundy leather banquettes lining the exposed brick walls, creating a cozy and glamorous atmosphere.

Chef Nathan Edwards has crafted a menu that blends Italian inspirations with a Southwestern twist. Menu offerings include an array of paninis, flatbreads, pizzas, pastas, and classic bar bites. Standout dishes customers should try are the elote arancini, crispy house-fried potato chips topped with a rich blue cheese mornay sauce, and a flavorful shrimp and sausage bucatini featuring locally sourced sausage from Jimmy’s. Or how about a petite filet in peppercorn cream sauce with parmesan fried gnocchi?

Find an assortment of beer and wine, plus some creative cocktails like the Ranch Water made with tequila, lime, and soda or the Zen Gimlet with thyme vodka, lime, ginger, and cucumber.
