Richardson lands a new fast-casual spot for protein bowls, fresh salads, and health-conscious meals. The Original ChopShop opened its newest North Texas restaurant on September 23, 2026, at Richardson’s CityLine Market, located at 1419 E. Renner Road, Suite 500. The opening marks the fast-casual restaurant’s 16th Texas location and 30th restaurant nationwide.
The restaurant specializes in customizable, made-to-order meals for health-conscious diners looking for something quick and nutritious. The menu covers everything from protein-packed lunches and salads to breakfast, juices, and shakes.
Protein bowls are one of Original ChopShop’s specialties, with options featuring chicken, steak, and other proteins paired with vegetables, grains, and flavorful sauces. The bowl menu includes Teriyaki Chicken, Thai Coconut Chicken, Spicy Hawaiian Chicken Bowl, and Spicy Korean Steak bowls.
Customers can also choose from chopped salads, like the Scottsdale Cobb and the Italian, and sandwiches, such as The Club. Other options include superfruit bowls, parfaits, fresh juices, and protein shakes for lighter choices throughout the day.
One convenient feature is the restaurant’s all-day breakfast menu. Great finds are avocado toast, brekkie wrap, breakfast bowls, and more.
Customization is also central to the concept. Original ChopShop offers options designed to accommodate several eating preferences, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and protein-forward choices.

Original ChopShop is open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
