Chicken Salad Chick Lands a New Location in New Braunfels

Although chicken salad might seem like a straightforward and unexciting meal, the dish does have an appeal. A medium-sized restaurant is developing an empire in Central Texas that continues flourishing. On January 17, 2024, Chicken Salad Chick, which launched two locations in San Antonio in 2023, will debut in New Braunfels.

Gruene Heights Center’s 1050 FM 306 will be the home for the new franchise restaurant. This site is convenient for drivers going through San Antonio as it is for locals and those running errands nearby, thanks to a drive-through window. After the eight eateries planned for the San Antonio area open—this New Braunfels location is just the third—and some people may even get addicted to this new chicken salad establishment.

Chicken Salad Chick serves a simple menu with a dozen flavors, from traditional styles like celery and mayonnaise chicken salad to more modern mixes like bacon-ranch. Select from spicy and traditional to savory and fruity and nutty. Pimento cheese, egg salad, soups, sandwiches, and sides like broccoli salad and grape salad add a greater selection to the deli-like menu with easy meals to take home.

If you are one of the lucky first 100 guests on January 17, you will receive free chicken salad for a year; one will receive weekly chicken, and the next 99 will receive meals monthly. Also, the following days have more prizes in store:

Thursday, January 18 — The first 50 guests to purchase a chick meal will receive a branded stainless steel water bottle.
Friday, January 19 — The first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio will receive a small, branded cooler.
Saturday, January 20 — The first 50 guests to purchase a large Quick Chick will receive a free canvas tote.

The new restaurant will serve a growing community with many young families and local retirees. Jeff Rochelle, who co-owns the existing San Antonio locations with James Oberg and George Shaw, will open five remaining locations.

The New Braunfels Chicken Salad Chick will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. More information is available at chickensaladchick.com.
