On April 20, a new coffee shop opened in Plano that centers around giving back to the community. Located in Plano on Legacy Drive, the Local Good Coffee Co. is part of The Local Good Collective, a nonprofit organization created by Chase Oaks Church.

The coffee house partners with local vendors serving coffee, tea, empanadas, pastries, ice cream, and more. They offer Lemma Coffee Roasters, pastries from Bresnan Bread & Pastry in McKinney, and food from Hugs CafƩ in McKinney, for example. Purchases support local partners and meet urgent needs in the community. They also partner with the Local Good Pantry (Richardson) and the Local Good Center (Plano) to bring better things to North Texas.

For pickleball lovers, the coffee shop features three free, lit, outdoor pickleball courts. They are open for play every day until 10 p.m.

There is also an outdoor event space for concerts and family-friendly events, indoor reservable space, and community-centric events like yoga classes, mommy and me classes, live music nights, art classes, and certification courses.
