A West Coast winery has created a magnificent 32-acre Texas footprint about 15 minutes near downtown Fredericksburg at 8561 US-290. The new winery called Halter Ranch Texas opened a 13,000-square-foot tasting room to indulge in fine wines. This Texas location is the winery’s third location and the first one in Texas.

The winery opened officially on April 3, but the public can experience the grand opening weekend on May 10-12. On that May weekend, there will be a big celebration of live music and cuisine from the highly anticipated restaurant H, featuring seasonal dishes like the ranch burger and New York strip crafted with ingredients sourced from local, organic farms. Guests can savor acclaimed Halter Ranch wines, including the inaugural Texas RosƩ.

Halter Ranch offers a unique Texas Hill Country wine tasting experience as they only craft wines from their certified organic vineyards. The wines are from nature, ethically farmed, organically grown, and sustainably finished. The winery rejects harmful monoculture, working to ensure a high-quality wine thatā€™s free from additives, chemicals, and other pollutants. The wines served at the tasting room will all be from certified organic estate vineyards and made of organic grapes from the High Plains of Texas.
