Common Bond Brasserie & Bakery

While Common Bond is not a new name in the industry with its beloved Montrose bakery, they have recently opened their first full-service restaurant in downtown Houston. The Brasserie has a wide array of dishes from fresh onion soup to smoked duck rillettes and even seafood towers.

Toro Toro

Richard Sandolval, the self-proclaimed “father of Modern Mexican cuisine”, recently opened a Latin-influenced steakhouse at the Four Season’s Hotel. They serve Spanish octopus, antelope, and many more. They also have a ceviche bar and their steak is served with chimichurri and barbecue sauce.

If you want to experience the street food of Mexico, you can check out Chef Hugo Ortega’s new eatery in Uptown Park. Urbe serves tlayudas and gorditas along with their extensive breakfast menu.

This new café in Garden Oaks serves honey sea salt lattes, acai bowls, and avocado toast for your healthy food needs. Sunday Press also has a boutique with a variety of items such as jewelry, skincare, and plants.

Dave’s Hot Chicken


Dave’s Hot Chicken serves Nashville-style hot chicken and was originally founded in Los Angeles. They are known for their large trays of fries and tenders that are perfect for sharing.
