Beans & Brews coffee house, a Utah-based coffee business that began operations in Salt Lake City in 1993, held its official Texas debut on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 6507 W. Loop 1604 N. in the Alamo Ranch community of San Antonio.
In 1993, brothers Jeff and Kevin Laramie built the first Beans & Brews coffee house, which was located near Liberty Park, a popular hangout in Salt Lake City. They perfected the technique of high-altitude roasting. Since then, their reputation for serving great coffee in an inviting neighborhood has steadily grown. The brothers have about 70 locations in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and now Texas.

Beans & Brews has inside seating, an inviting and fun atmosphere, and a health-conscious menu, including dairy-free items and plant-based food. Alongside a large variety of coffee choices, plus teas, frozen drinks, chocolate drinks, and blended drinks, the menu also includes croissant sandwiches, panini, breakfast tacos, avocado toast, and burritos, such as chipotle chicken, bacon, and plant-based burritos.
Guests can try the protein supreme burrito with plant-based sausage crumble, smoky meatless bacon, and steak-less strips with dairy-free cheddar and seasoned eggless tofu scramble. Or, how about the Rockin’ Ranchero with tofu scramble and spicy dairy-free cheese with peppers?
This brand-new San Antonio coffee shop is the first of three new Beans & Brews store locations planned for the area in the next few months as part of Brame Holdings’ portfolio of food service brands, including Round Table Pizza and Fatburger/Buffalo Express. Austin is another city that will land a Beans & Brews shop.
