Dallas lands one of Australia’s most popular dessert brands, and North Texas has been chosen as the company’s launching point for the United States.
Yo-Chi, the Melbourne-born self-serve frozen yogurt and açaí brand with a cult-like following Down Under, officially opens its first U.S. location on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 5710 W. Lovers Lane, Suite 101, near Inwood Village.
Founded in Melbourne in 2012, Yo-Chi has grown to more than 75 locations across Australia, becoming known for its frozen yogurt, toppings bar, and its lively spaces where customers enjoy hanging out. The company has since begun expanding internationally, including into Singapore and the United Kingdom, and Dallas now serves as the starting point for its American expansion.
Yo-Chi is putting a more modern spin on the frozen yogurt experience. Its frozen yogurt is made with fresh milk rather than powdered mixes and contains live probiotics. Customers can also choose organic açaí made with sustainably sourced Amazonian berries.
The self-serve topping bar, similar to a large salad bar, is one of the top features of this café-style yogurt bar with more than 40 choices, ranging from fresh-cut fruit, nuts, and chocolate chips to mini mochi, pistachio spread, and scoopable cookie dough. There’s even a hot bar featuring warm brownies, gooey chocolate chunk cookie cake, and premium sauces.

The shop features open layouts, communal topping stations, and free Wi-Fi, all designed around the brand’s philosophy of “sharing the Chi,” its expression for spreading positive energy.
The grand opening begins at 11 a.m. on October 3, 2026, and will feature a live DJ, giveaways, and a distinctly Texas touch: special chocolate cowboy hat toppings. The first 50 people in line will also receive their Yo-Chi bowl for free.
For Dallas dessert lovers, it means one of Australia’s favorite frozen yogurt concepts has officially arrived, and another location is slated to open at NorthPark Center soon.
