McDonald’s new concept called CosMc’s, which is focused on customized and innovative beverages, opened its first location North Texas on March 19 at 6033 Campbell Road, near Preston Road. The CosMc’s name stems from on a McDonald’s character from the 1990s.
Dallas is only the second CosMc’s location. In 2023, the first location opened in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Nine additional test locations across Dallas and San Antonio will open their doors in the months ahead.

The store offers customizable drinks, like coffee selections including a churro cold brew frappe and a turmeric spiced latte. Guests can order various teas, energy drinks, and slushes, like the Sour Cherry Energy Burst.
The drink menu includes lemonades, which can be made caffeinated, as well as teas and coffees. Popular fan-favorites include the Fruity Popping Boba, Tropical Spiceade, Energy Shot and Blackberry Mint Green Tea.
The Dallas location will offer new drinks, like the Beach Protein Frappe for banana enthusiasts and Melon Herb Chiller, a fusion of watermelon and mint flavors with lemonade and an arctic kick.
McDonald’s customers will recognize some of the food on the menu, like Egg McMuffins, which are available all day. Other sandwiches and small bites are also available.
Ice cream lovers can get soft-serve, available in cones, sundaes, and a selection of Blizzard-like McFlurry shakes in flavors like Oreo and M&M’s.
The Campbell Road location hours are from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for drive-thru and walk-ups.
