Hattie B’s opened a new location at 3827 Lemmon Ave., offering high-quality, spicy, Southern-style fried chicken in a casual atmosphere with outdoor seating, reminiscent of their famous red-and-black decor that all began in Nashville.
Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, founded in 2012 by Nick and Nick Bishop Sr., is renowned for its mastery of Nashville-style hot chicken. It offers a variety of fried chicken dishes and innovative sides.
A unique aspect of Hattie B’s is their secret sauce that caters to different spice preferences. Hattie B’s serves chicken in different cuts like wings, tenders, breasts, and legs, with spice levels ranging from mild to the intense “Shut the Cluck Up” extreme spice level. Their spice scale is as follows: Southern – no heat, Mild – a little kick, Medium – enough to feel it, Hot – a real burn, Damn Hot – a serious heat, and Shut the Cluck Up – the spiciest level and no amount of water will take the fire away.
