H-E-B has opened its second store in Frisco at US 380 and FM 423, marking the seventh H-E-B location in the DFW Metroplex. The 130,000-square-foot store in Frisco joins other locations in the Metroplex, including Joe V’s Smart Shop Wheatland and six Central Market locations, nearly two years after its first store opened in Frisco.
According to H-E-B corporate press release, the new store provides unique offerings like True Texas BBQ, H-E-B’s lauded barbecue restaurant that was named best barbecue chain in Texas by Texas Monthly and a top barbecue chain in the nation by Thrillist. Inside, customers can find a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru, and Home by H-E-B home décor department featuring furniture, woven textiles, and accent pieces from the Haven + Key and Texas Proud collections. The release states the store introduced a new line of sushi options, sushi and sashimi by the pound and a DFW Roll, made with avocado, cucumber, spicy tuna, and salmon that’s seared and topped with spicy mayo and green onions. Customers can grab a new Café Ole coffee blend, Taste of DFW, which is medium bodied with caramel, chocolate, and pecan flavors.
H-E-B provides customers with online shopping, payment, and delivery options through its Curbside and Home Delivery services, allowing them to conveniently pick up or deliver their products.
H-E-B, Texas’ largest privately held employer, employs over 700 local employees and is recognized as a top employer globally. H-E-B donated $10,000 to the Little Elm Animal Shelter and the Little Elm Educational Fund for $20,000, demonstrating its commitment to supporting over 150 non-profit organizations and public schools in the DFW Metroplex.
In the DFW area, H-E-B has also announced additional H-E-B stores in Melissa and Prosper, which are under construction, and Rockwall, which broke ground in late June of this year.
