Gelato shop I SCREAM GELATO opened their first Texas location last week in Granite Park in Plano. Customers can sample more than 30 flavors of the finest artisanal gelato flavors.
Gelato has grown in popularity across Texas, and Plano has seen a slew of new gelato shops. I SCREAM GELATO is unique because of their commitment to authenticity and community. The gelato store serves rich flavors and textures of traditional Italian gelato, made from scratch daily, using time-honored Italian methods, and complemented by local ingredients and ingredients sourced from Italy.
From bold combinations like Lavender Honey and Pistachio Biscotti to local favorites inspired by Texas, the gelato store constantly innovates new flavors and selections to keep the menu exciting.
Customers can choose from a rotating selection of over 30 flavors, including dairy-free and vegan options. Guests can customize their gelato with delicious toppings, sauces, and cones. Other popular items include gelato brioche sandwiches, bubble waffle cones, crepes, milkshakes, smoothies, waffles, espresso beverages, coffee, and more.

With three new locations opening soon in Dallas and one in Columbus, OH, the business is expected to gain even more traction in the near future. This is the chain’s first franchise in the Plano area.
The gelato shop started in Breckenridge, Colorado, in the summer of 2018. It was all inspired from a trip to Milano, Italy, and the town’s famous gelato.
