The 2023 Asian Film Festival of Dallas Starts Today and Runs Through Sunday July 16th

The Asian Film Festival of Dallas will kickoff its 22nd year today starting at 12:30pm at the Angelika Theater in Dallas, TX.

This years festival will showcase more than 20 films and shorts across the 4-day event. Two of the films, “The Accidental Getaway Driver” and “Waiting for the Light to Change” will have Q&A after the screenings. These two films have also found recent acclaim with “The Accidental Getaway Driver” winning the Directing Award in the U.S. Dramatic dramatic category at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and “Waiting for the Light to Change” winning the Grand Jury Prize for Narrative Film at the 2023 Slamdance Film Festival.

You’ll also get to watch 12 short films made by local Dallas – Fort Worth student directors when the event kicks off at 12:30pm today.
