Plano Lands a Massive New Gaming Lounge With 40+ High-End PCs

Gamers in Plano have a new place to level up and play until 2 a.m. on weekends.

Surge Esports, a premium gaming and esports venue built for competitive and casual gamers, has officially arrived at 280 Legacy Drive in Plano, offering high-end performance gaming PCs, console stations, tournaments, community events, streaming spaces, and a dedicated Trading Card Game (TCG) area.

Surge Esports is built around modern gaming, with dozens of high-performance PCs ready for players to jump into their favorite titles. Console gamers have options, while more competitive players can head into a dedicated six-station esports room designed for private bookings and 3-on-3 matches.

There’s also a creator studio for aspiring streamers and content creators, complete with cameras, microphones, lighting, and dedicated equipment for recording and streaming.

The venue supports a wide range of titles, including competitive esports games, casual multiplayer games, fighting games, sports titles, and more.

Surge Esports is also getting into the trading card scene, with space for games, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana and One Piece.

The venue plans to host tournaments, drafts, watch parties, open-play events, and other community gatherings, giving local gamers another place to meet people who share their interests.

One of the nice things about Surge is that you can simply walk in and start playing, no membership is needed.

Gamers can pay by the hour or grab an all-day pass, while memberships are available for regular visitors, providing additional gaming time and other perks.

Surge is open until midnight Monday through Thursday, and stays open until 2 a.m. Friday through Sunday, making it another late-night entertainment option for Plano and Collin County.
