A new family tradition
Have you thought about switching from a traditional New Year’s Eve, and taking the family out to celebrate with a fun night of activities and games instead? Well the Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa, and Convention Center will be throwing a family fun event on New Year’s Eve.
Tickets are sold in packages with your hotel room:

The event will include a family dinner with a Cirque Joyeaux Holiday Show, a walk through the Festival of Lights trail, a New Year’s Eve Ball Drop, and games for both parents and the kids!
Other fun activities are available for the entire night such as:
- Dessert Bar
- Lounge Area with a Bar and TV for Football Games
- Family Photos
- Aquarium and Rainforest Pyramids
- Discovery Museum
- Colonel Paddlewheel Boat
- Ice Skating Rink
You’re sure to be worn out and ready for a good night’s rest, and the kids too (maybe).
Guests will receive text messages throughout the night to alert them of when each activity is about to begin to ensure that nothing is missed throughout the event. There will also be appetizers, hot chocolate, and warm cookies while the fireworks light up the night sky and ring in the new year.
End the night with a count down with the kids as you prepare for the Beach Ball Drop into the New Year. You’ll even be able to toast with champagne and sparkling cider.
The next morning you all can enjoy a breakfast and more games and activities. Of course, it wouldn’t be New Year’s Day if there weren’t any Mimosa’s and Bloody Mary’s on standby for the adults.
