Broken Yok Cafe, first made famous on The Travel Channel’s Man vs Food, debuted recently in McKinney in the District 121 development. The restaurant is the first Dallas-Fort Worth area location.

The Original Broken Yolk Café started in 1979 in Pacific Beach, a local beach community in San Diego, California. The chain has become a Southern California favorite for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The hometown favorite has expanded to 36 locations nationwide and 10 more in development.

The restaurant is popular for their signature benedicts and breakfast classics and a variety of menu options like mimosas, homemade sauces, soups, baked goods, and more. Try the American Breakfast or the New York Steak and Eggs. There’s breakfast craves like Betty’s Southern Biscuit and Gravy and the Sun-Up Breakfast sandwich with two fried eggs, bacon, and American cheese.

Hearty skillets, such as the meat lovers or the hash, will fill you up. Try delicious omelets like the Mom with spinach, mushroom, onion, red and green bell pepper, all topped with avocado, salsa fresca, and sour cream or the Mile High with diced ham, green bell pepper, onion, and American cheese. And that’s not all. Customers will love the pancakes, waffles, French toast, and crepes. Nutella crepes…enough said. If breakfast isn’t your thing, then burgers, sandwiches, and wraps are on the menu as well.
