Editors note: COVID safety information is at the end of this article
Trying to figure out where to go pumpkin picking this year? Look no further than Barton Hill Farms! It’s a fall wonderland nestled in central Texas just a 30 minute drive east of Austin with over a dozen activities that will keep you and your family entertained all day long.
Your kids will get to ride the bee train, have their faces painted, play fun yard games like cornhole and tetherball, and try their hand at archery.
There’s also giant slides for them to ride down, a tree fort complete with a climbing wall, a Texas-sized jumping pillow, and a competitive basketball zone where they can shoot hoops with their siblings.
And that’s not all! Barton Hill Farms has a 3.5 acre corn maze, a fishing pond, hayrides, an apple cannon, live music, and so much more! There’s even a beer garden for parents to sit down and enjoy a cold cider.
The best part is that all of their activities are socially distanced and COVID-safe. Barton Hill is limiting their capacity by half and implementing strict cleaning procedures.
They’re only taking online reservations and contactless payments and requiring guests to wear masks inside. Most of the attractions are outdoors as well, which is considered safer than being indoors.
Barton Hill Farms is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until November 15th. Tickets cost $16.95 on Friday and $19.95 the rest of the weekend. Go to their website to get your tickets before they are all booked up!
