Harumama Noodles + Buns, a popular family-owned Japanese/Korean fusion restaurant, has opened its first Texas location in Carrollton at 1060 W Frankford Road. Known for its cute and social media-worthy steamed character buns, shaped like pigs, crows, pandas, chicks, and other adorable animals, the restaurant offers a fun dining experience alongside a robust menu, featuring ramen, poke bowls, noodles, and sizzling skillets.
Character buns are all the rage at this unique restaurant and can’t be missed. Try the chicken-shaped character buns with two pieces of chicken, mozzarella, and caramelized onions. Or choose the cow-shaped buns made with ground barbecue beef, carrot, and shiitake. Bao buns are delicious, choose from pork belly, spam, shrimp, and karrage. Guests can also feast on crab wontons, fried rice, pork potstickers, veggie eggrolls, and more. Healthy salads are available and poke bowls. The restaurant also offers delicious skillets, ramen, and noodle dishes.
