A total solar eclipse will take place at the Moon’s ascending node on Monday, April 8, 2024, visible across North America and dubbed the Great North American Eclipse by some media. Much of Texas (including the Dallas metroplex area) will be in the path of totality!
The fast-casual chicken chain Birdcall will offer its Totality Shake at all Texas locations from April 2 through 8, with a pair of eclipse glasses to go with it, while supplies last. The Totality Shake is a vanilla shake with black tahini and Oreo crumbles, topped with whipped cream, Oreo crumbles, and an Oreo garnish for $5.95.
