Looking for a delicious steak or seafood in Austin? Recently, Austin welcomed the first location of a Los Angeles-based hospitality group’s steakhouse eatery. BOA Steakhouse opened on June 3 2024, at 300 W 6th Street in downtown Austin.
Upscale American cuisine is the main focus of BOA Steakhouse’s menu, which is led by chef James Flowers. Flowers use to work at Austin restaurants, such as French spot 1417, the Four Seasons’ Ciclo, and French gastropub Hopfields. Customers can find many steak selections, such as filets, ribeye steaks, Japanese A5 wagyu and dry-aged steaks. There’s also lobster tail, salmon, grilled lamb lollipops, baked potatoes with caviar, a mushroom Wellington, goat cheese bavlava, smoked steak tartare, king crab ceviche, lobster bolognese, and grilling wagyu bone marrow. Find tableside Caesar salads, classic wedge, and a special chopped salad for a healthier choice. For a more Texas twist, guests can opt for pork belly confit or tallow steak fries. The restaurant offers a raw bar that serves several selections like tuna tartare, chef cones, oysters, royal select boa caviar, etc.

BOA’s full bar serves specialty cocktails, wines, and beers. Customers can sip on the Blackberry Smash or the Saint Tropica. That’s not all, as there are more than 10 cocktails to choose from, plus zero-proof options and mocktails like the Zen Garden and the Espresso Martini.
If you are looking for something stronger, BOA provides a range of tequila, whiskey, cognac, and scotch. The wine selection is also vast, from Texas reds and Bordeaux to Chardonnay and Rose.
Reservations can be made online at restaurant website. Hours are from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and then from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
