Artisanal doughnut and coffee shop, Wow! Donuts & Drips, is opening in Plano at 501 Talbert Dr., on March 23.
The store looks to modernize the traditional donut as there are no preservatives or trans fats on the menu.
Wow! Donuts & Drips started in 2017 with its first location in Dallas at 5601 W. Lovers Ln. by husband-and-wife team Dung and Sang Sim, along with their two children.
Whether it’s traditional flavors like glazed, chocolate, and sprinkles or inventive ones like French toast, maple bacon, salted caramel coffee cream, crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e, and tiramisu, Wow! is more than just your usual doughnut bakery. Every day, they create small batches of doughnuts from scratch and turn them into culinary works of art. Customers can also buy donuts by the half dozen and dozen.
Guests can also get classic donuts, Mochi donuts, pastries, and croissant donuts. Coffee lovers will find a drip coffee bar, espresso bar, cold bar, and tea bar.

The Plano opening will occur on Saturday, March 23, from 12-2 pm, and Sunday, March 24, from 2-4 pm, with live music, interactive kidsā activities, doughnut decorating sessions, selfie stations, and raffles for prizes.
Plans for a store in Richardson are in place for late 2024.
