Dallas’ ever-growing fried chicken scene is getting a new contender. Launching May 2, 2026, at Old Town Shopping Center along Greenville Avenue, Flock & Fresh brings a bold, healthier take to the fast-casual chicken chain space.
The concept comes from Wan Kim, CEO of Smoothie King and owner of Nuri Steakhouse, who seeks to blend craveable comfort food with high-quality ingredients and a more dine-in-friendly environment.
Flock & Fresh focuses on chicken, but the bird is never frozen, free of antibiotics and hormones, and brined for 24 hours before hitting the fryer or grill. That attention to detail is carried throughout the menu.
Guests can expect crispy tenders, sandwiches, and lighter options like salads, all featuring the same high-quality, delicious chicken.

Signature items include a three-piece tender plate paired with house-made chips and a fresh kale salad, as well as two standout sandwiches, such as a classic crispy option and a grilled version layered with richer flavors like bacon jam and the signature Flock spread.
Despite the elevated approach, pricing is affordable, with most items landing under $15. In a market already packed with chicken concepts, Flock & Fresh is ready to win the hearts and taste buds of Dallas chicken lovers.
