Downtown Plano gains a new brewpub from a Pennsylvania town named Voodoo Brewing Co. The new pub, which opens on March 8, is located at 1001 14th St. #500, on the ground floor of the Morada apartment building.

It will be the chain’s third Texas facility; the previous two, in Grand Prairie, opened in 2023 and recently in Katy. Meadville, a tiny town north of Pittsburgh and the location of Allegheny College is where Voodoo Brewing Co. was established. After launching their first taproom in 2012, they operate in Colorado, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas.

Voodoo Brewing is the first restaurant venture for Jennifer and Jeremy Dartez. The pair has traveled to breweries all over the U.S. and they have a passion for craft beer. With little prior expertise in the food and beverage industry, they signed up for a franchise, excited to open a brewery in Plano and make it their own.

Guests will love the friendly and inviting atmosphere of the pub. They will see a colorful mural by local artist Andrea Holmes, filled with references to Plano, Louisiana, and Texas.

Po’boy sandwiches, boudin balls, hush puppies, and other Cajun-inspired dishes will offer guests sophisticated bar fare.

In addition, the menu lists pizza, wings, burgers, salads, wraps, and beer cheese mac & cheese. Pretzels, sliders, nachos, and fried pickles are examples of appetizers. Beignets, churros, and bread pudding are the three delicious dessert selections.
