If you are looking for some boba, then head to the new California-based Krak Boba, which opened its first location in Addison, at 3767 Belt Line Road on May 25, 2024.
One of the three partners who introduced the Krak Boba idea in 2020, CEO and frontman Tin Do, started Krak in Riverside, California. Right now, there are twelve sites throughout Southern California and one in Orlando, Florida. Addison is the first of numerous Krak Boba stores that expects to open in Dallas/Fort Worth.
The name Krak Boba stems from a 1979 children’s folktale called King Krakus and the Dragon. Customers may notice some dragon descriptions from the story appears in the drink names.
Guests can order lots of boba teas, many with unique names. Some of the specialty ones include King Brûlée with sweet fresh milk poured over creamy crème brûlée and caramelized brown sugar. Strawberry Matcha Latte includes a beautiful blend of high-grade matcha and fresh milk that balances the tangy-sweet strawberry jam. Moon Princess has white peach, green tea, sweet cream, and pink crystal boba. Try the Dragon Slayer with lychee slush embellished with dragon fruit and mango bits.
