Texas based Taco Cabana has unveiled a free lunch program for kids in Texas this summer. The offer comes as many Texas families are struggling to make ends meet during the COVID-19 pandemic with many businesses closing down permanently and millions of Texans having to file for unemployment.
The free kids meals do come with a couple of restrictions.
1. The are only available in the drive-thru at a Taco Cabana location.
2. The child / children must be present in the vehicle and must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
3. The free meals are only available between 11 am and noon each day.
The Taco Cabana free kids meal offer includes a bean & cheese taco, chips and queso, and a drink.
āWe have been part of this community for more than 40 years, and Texas has been hit hard during these unprecedented times. We are happy to offer kids in our communities a free meal they love. We hope we can provide some needed relief to the many families that have been impacted by the current health crisis,ā – Patricia Lopez-Calleja, Senior Vice President of Guest Engagement for Fiesta Restaurant Group (Taco Cabana).
