Today Austin based Tesla announced that their Robotaxis are now rolling in Dallas and Houston.
These are automated driverless cars you can order with an app. Which have previously operating only in Austin, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.
The Dallas and Houston rollout is part of a series of limited release planned by Tesla as they seek to take on market-leader Waymo (Google) and battle against rideshare companies Uber and Lyft.
The launch area for both cities is fairly small, so this is more of an experiment and less of a service y’all could use daily.
