Sherman Snowflake Festival & Christmas Parade
Spend a fun and festive weekend with your family and friends as the city of Sherman’s Snowflake Festival and Christmas Parade lets you experience exciting annual traditions of the town including the big tree lighting and parade!

Christmas in the Park in Mesquite
Are you a fan of carnival rides? Then you will surely be happy this holiday season as Mesquite Parks and Recreation’s largest annual event, Christmas in the Park, brings you these rides for free. Not only that, but there are also other activities such as visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, arts and crafts, and savoring hot cocoa and cookies await you too!
This family-friendly event near Dallas will let you kick off the holiday season fun with its exciting activities for everyone. You can take pictures with Santa, make smores or roast marshmallows at the Yule Log, and have your kids play in bounce houses. If there is something your kids want to ask from Santa, they can write a letter and drop it in a special mailbox to the North Pole. Or you can just sit back and relax as you enjoy stage music and dance performances.

Christmas Fair & Winter in the Park in Huntsville, TX
You can start the holiday season off right in Huntsville, Texas! Bring your family and friends together in Huntsville for the annual Winter in the Park where you will definitely feel the holiday spirit. This event features vendors, delicious holiday food, bounce houses, face painting, crafts for the kids, and much more. Vendors will line the streets to give you plenty of gift ideas and options. You can also enjoy picturesque views for your family and friend shots in this fair in the park!
But wait, there’s more! Need not to worry about leaving your pets behind. You can even bring them as a participant in the 3rd Santa Paws Pet Costume Contest this year. Just bring your pet/s in their merriest holiday outfit and showcase it on the red carpet at 11:00 am at the Downtown Christmas Fair in front of the Mainstreet Office.
When you register your pets in this contest, you are not only making people be in awe of them, you are also contributing to the Rita B Huff Humane Society through the entrance fee.
