Lava Hot Chicken opened a new restaurant at 3933 North Central Expressway, Ste. 100, in Plano, introducing its halal-certified menu of crispy tenders, wings, and sliders to Plano and other area diners. The location marks the brand’s expansion beyond its original Rowlett restaurant and brings its signature combination of customizable heat levels and comfort-food favorites to Collin County.
The superstars of the menu are hand-breaded chicken and signature lava sauce in five spice levels, allowing guests to choose anything from a mild bite to an intensely fiery flavor. The restaurant’s lineup includes lava chunks and jumbo chicken tenders served with crinkle-cut fries and Texas toast, as well as Nashville-inspired sliders topped with pickles, creamy slaw, and the house-made Lava Sauce. Customers can also find traditional and boneless wings on the menu.
One feature that sets Lava Hot Chicken apart is its unique cooking methods, as its chicken is cooked in 100% beef tallow, creating an extra-crispy exterior while remaining completely halal.

Beyond its signature chicken, the menu offers indulgent comfort food. Guests can order loaded fries topped with chopped chicken, mac and cheese, pickles, and Lava Sauce, alongside chicken and waffles, creamy macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and crinkle-cut fries. For dessert, banana pudding and creamy cheesecake provide a welcome break from the heat.
