Popular Dallas Tex-Mex restaurateur, Eddie Cervantes, recently opened a new Tex-Mex restaurant called Eddie’s Cocina & Cantina, located at 5622 Lemmon Ave., at the corner of Inwood Road. The location once housed El Fenix for decades until it shut down in 2020.
Cervantes is a beloved restauranteur in Dallas who also owns the popular Eddie’s Tex-Mex Cocina on Lower Greenville and Primo’s Bar & Grill on McKinney Avenue, which he opened in 1986. These iconic establishments are well-known among locals who enjoy margaritas, house-made salsa, and other popular authentic Mexican dishes.
The new restaurant’s huge menu showcases items made fresh from scratch daily like soups, Loaded Queso, quesadillas, tacos, chicken tortilla soup, taco salad, fajitas, brisket tacos, enchiladas, stuffed chicken, burritos, ceviche, and much more delicious items. For dessert, don’t miss flan and churros. For drinks, how about a frozen margarita? Enough said.
Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm.
