Punk Noir, an immersive new tasting menu-only restaurant, will open on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Dallas’ Design District at 139 Turtle Creek Boulevard.

The restaurant features multiple cinematic rooms, setting the stage for an impressive 20-course tasting experience, costing $295 per person. Helmed by James Beard Award-winning Chef RJ Cooper, Punk Noir blends globally inspired cuisine with bold creativity, theatrical presentation, and an energetic, design-driven atmosphere. The concept stems from Dallas natives John McKeel and his sons, Cole and Clay McKeel, who created the restaurant as a personal passion project designed to bring a daring new culinary experience to Dallas.

Guests arrive to dine in an artistic atmosphere, spanning 7,800 square feet, and they’re welcomed into a lounge space decorated with a striking and colorful graffiti mural from local contemporary artist Michael Shellis.

This avant-garde restaurant makes reservations via its website for 26 seats with two to three seatings nightly, creating a more intimate gathering and experience. During dinner, guests move into different rooms, such as a communal dining room featuring projection-mapped visuals and graffiti art led by a “Mistress of Ceremonies” and an open kitchen where Chef Cooper presents various, chef-driven courses, such as caviar and Wagyu. A spectacular dining room is adorned with chandeliers and Michael Shellis’s oversized canvas punk paintings. By the end of the evening, guests can make a choice to relax in the dining room or the Noir Lounge.
