East Dallas is about to welcome a fresh and exciting addition to its retail and food scene. I Want That One, a new wine bar concept with a curated gift shop and contemporary art gallery, is opening in early June at 2410 N. Haskell Avenue.
Behind I Want That One are the owners Graham and David Bond, partners in life and business, who bring together global experience and shared passions for wine, art, and travel. David, a commercial airline pilot, and Graham, a seasoned retail leader with roles spanning Macy’s, Fossil, and international brands, have dreamed of creating something that feels both personal and adventurous.
Inside the shop, customers will discover more than the typical wine, art, and gift offerings. The décor is warm, inviting, and intentional, with handpicked home goods and gifts sourced from around the world. Customers will find experiential art, overstuffed pillows, ombre-finished wine glasses, wine selection, and cheeky ceramic tiles.
I Want That One will offer boutique wines that are not on the average grocery shelf. The owners plan to host tastings, offer wine by the glass or flight, and invite winemakers for intimate meet-and-pour events. The in-store wine bar, painted in a moody cobalt blue and topped with white marble, sets the scene with quirky charm.
To support the community and local artists, the shop will serve as a rotating gallery space, giving Dallas artists a platform to exhibit their work and shoppers a chance to discover unexpected pieces. Upcoming art showcases and wine-centric events will be promoted through their vibrant Instagram presence.
In a city that’s seen plenty of wine bars and plenty of gift shops, I Want That One promises to be unique – a place to linger, laugh, and leave with something unforgettable.
