Tanglefoot Music & BBQ Festival, Texas’ newest country-music and barbecue extravaganza, is heating up downtown Temple, Texas, this weekend, September 12–13, 2025.
The two-day inaugural celebration at the MLK Festival Grounds, a multi-acre and multi-use outdoor greenspace, will offer world-class barbecue and more than 21 country music acts, headlined by up-and-coming country star Parker McCollum, known as The Lime Stone Kid. Listen to other country powerhouses like Cody Jinks, Robert Earl Keen, Randy Rogers Band, Mark Chesnutt, Jack Ingram, Corey Kent, The Droptines, The Wilder Blue, plus many more Texas favorites.
This barbecue bonanza will showcase 16 top BBQ joints from across the country who will take attendees on a smoke-filled and highly flavorful culinary journey in an atmosphere where community and celebration thrive. Pit masters will heat up their smokers with styles ranging from Texas brisket to delicious smoked ribs. Notables include B4 Barbeque, Bar-A-BBQ, Brick Vault Brewery & Barbecue, Edge Craft Barbecue, Fork Grove Barbecue, Hill City Chop House, Meat Mitch Barbecue, Miller’s Smokehouse, Olmos BBQ, and many others.

Tickets are now available at https://www.tanglefoottx.com. Individuals can buy a two-day general admission and VIP tickets. On Friday, Sept. 12, the gates open at 2 p.m. until close at 11 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 13, the gates open at 12 p.m. and the festival ends at 11 p.m.
