Wylie is the new home to Ferah Smokehouse & Cantina, a family restaurant that offers a unique fusion of barbecue and Tex-Mex.
Ferah Smokehouse & Cantina was formed in December 2023 by chef Burak and Stephanie Ozcan and Jeremy and Heidi Berlin. It opened to the public on July 22, 2024. Ferah Smokehouse & Cantina is part of Ferah Hospitality Group.
The menu offers a large variety of delicious choices. To share, try the Chef Sampler Platter with Mac & Cheese Bites, BBQ Meatballs, Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp, Queso Blanco, and tortilla chips. Guests can also share the Queso Blanco Fondu and Guacamole. There’s also quesadillas, nachos, a Tostadas Tower, and Smoked Chicken Flautas. Healthy options include the Wedge Salad and the Chopped Salad. Try burgers or tacos like brisket tacos or shrimp tacos. From the Signature Selections menu, customers can order chicken, steak, or salmon or the Texan Platter with sliced smoked brisket, mesquite smoked pulled pork, bacon wrapped shrimp, cole slaw, and mashed potatoes.

Dessert lovers can try Churros Cajeta, Texas Shaped Chocolate Mousse Cake, Salted Caramel Cheesecake, and Vanilla Creme Brulee Catalina. For drinks, guests can sip innovative cocktails like the Hibiscus Herb Margarita with Tequila Blanco, Escorial Herbal Liquer, Hibiscus Syrup Lime, Orange, Agave, Tajin, and Rosemary or the Ferah Pina Colada with Island Getaway Texas White Rum, Cream of Coconut Pineapple Juice, lime, agave, shredded coconut, and grilled pineapple. The menu also offers beer and wine.
