Nestled in a restored 1920s bungalow on East Cesar Chavez in Austin, Strangelove Coffee & Wine shifts its vibe day and night. By day, it’s a cozy coffee haven serving expertly brewed espresso, lattes, and coffee drinks as well as flaky pastries courtesy of local bakers. At dusk, the mood shifts from coffee haven to a wine bar, transforming the space into a laid-back neighborhood hangout.

Born from a collaboration between the minds behind Small Victory, one of Austin’s most acclaimed cocktail bars, and Figure 8 Coffee, a local favorite for caffeine lovers, Strangelove offers a unique experience. Their curated wine list leans on thoughtful, small-producer selections handpicked by the owners, offering natural, curated wines by the glass and a mix of international gems.

Guests can order small plates like the bread and cheese plate, or pastries to keep the vibe casual and delicious. The real charm might be the spacious back patio, now a welcoming spot to sip under the trees. The space also hosts regular food truck pop-ups and community events, keeping things fresh and ever-changing.

Whether you’re after a quiet morning latte, a mid-afternoon meeting spot, or an evening glass of wine with friends, Strangelove has you covered, no matter the time of day.
