Dallas just landed a cozy and delicious new spot for people who like their mornings slow and maybe a tiny bit romantic. Maman, the New York café famous for massive cookies, dreamy pastries, and chic French interiors, has officially opened its first Texas location in the Plaza at Preston Center and the 50th Maman location.
The new space feels like a postcard from Provence with soft blue accents, vintage wood tables, patterned tiles, and flowers tucked into corners to ignite more French charm.
Born in SoHo in 2014, Maman has grown into dozens of cafés across the U.S. and Canada. The Dallas outpost has something special, and a handful of items created just for Texans.
Maman didn’t just copy and paste their standard menu. They gave Dallas its own lineup of pastries and drinks. The standouts include Magnolia Sweet Tea Fizz, which is a sparkling iced tea made with magnolia buds, local honey, and Topo Chico. The Cheesy Brisket Croissant Roll is one made just for Texas with a buttery croissant swirl around smoked brisket and cheddar. It’s half-pastry, half–barbecue, waiting to be devoured. Lone Star Cinnamon Bun is a cinnamon roll topped with a crisp pastry star. Salted Caramel Pecan Pie Roll is a dessert dream with toasted pecans, vanilla, and caramel. Don’t miss the Martha Stewart’s Chicken Salad Sandwich or Martine’s Mediterranean Steak Sandwich.

Maman’s regular favorites are also in the mix: thick, gooey chocolate-chip cookies, classic French pastries, salads, sandwiches, soups, and a full espresso and tea bar.
The Dallas shop opens early at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. on weekends, making it ideal for pastry-before-work people and laid-back brunch goers alike.
You can relax at a table for breakfast, grab a latte to go, or pick up pastries for an office meeting. Maman also offers catering and private-event options if you ever want to celebrate something while surrounded by rustic charm.
