Dallas Gains New Italian Restaurant by Celebrity Chef Tiffany Derry

On May 1, Dallas will land a new Italian restaurant created by Dallas celebrity chef Tiffany Derry. The brand-new restaurant, Radici Wood-Fired Grill, is located in Farmers Branch at 12990 Bee Street and its specialty is in-house pasta.

According to the website, Radici, meaning ā€œRootsā€ in Italian, draws inspiration from Chef Tiffany Derryā€™s experiences in Italian restaurants, Tom Foleyā€™s maternal heritage, and their travels through Italy.

Prepare to embark on a culinary journey when visiting this special restaurant. The innovative dishes are prepared using the traditional wood-fired cooking method. They are infused with a distinctive smoky flavor that will intrigue your taste buds. The restaurant sources ingredients locally and seasonally, ensuring each dish is a unique and flavorful masterpiece that supports the community.

Radici comes from T2D Concepts, the hospitality group led by chef Derry and partner Tom Foley, whose other concepts include Roots Chicken Shak, Roots Southern Table, and ‘Shef Tiffany, Derry’s spice and apparel line.

Customers can taste fresh meats and vegetables prepared on a wood-fired grill and a selection of fresh pasta made daily.

Guests should not miss the Modena-style lasagna with white bolognese, sage, spinach pasta, parmesan, and nutmeg when dining at this restaurant.

Or how about a mouth-watering 14-ounce Rosewood ribeye ā€œFiorentina styleā€ with charred lemon and chicory salad or the Eggplant Involtini with ricotta, smoked mozzarella, parmesan, Calabrian chili, pomodoro, and basil?

Desserts will excite you, too. They include tiramisu, affogato, or pistachio olive oil cake.

Drinks include house-made limoncello, negronis, martinis, Derry’s favorite, an Aperol spritz, and spirit-free cocktails.

Wines are served in natural selections, mostly Italian varietals. A special map directs customers to the appropriate glass or bottle.

The decor focuses on an open kitchen with a wood-fired grill, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The dining room features natural wood and burgundy tones, creating a relaxing area. There’s also a six-seat chef’s table with a view of the kitchen, perfect for those who want a front-row seat to the culinary action. A semi-private dining room is also available for more intimate gatherings.
