Avila Taco has officially opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant, transforming a longtime food-truck favorite into a neighborhood destination. Located along Keller Parkway, the new space provides room to grow, stability, and a place where regulars can enjoy slow-braised birria and other taco concepts.
Avila Taco is the result of a true family collaboration. The restaurant is operated by a husband-and-wife team alongside parents who share a deep respect for traditional cooking, such as slow-cooked for hours to develop rich, deep-layered flavor.
Before launching the business, the founders gained years of kitchen experience, learning the discipline behind running a tight operation in their food truck, ensuring speed, consistency, and quality are balanced in a tiny workspace.
Avila Taco always stays true to what made it popular, the tender, flavorful birria served with a savory consommé. Guests will find birria reinvented, folded into grilled cheese sandwiches, stirred into creamy mac and cheese, layered over baked potatoes, or even paired with ramen noodles.
