Pizza Ella Brings Kosher and Middle Eastern Flavors to Richardson

Richardson lands a new Kosher-focused pizzeria called Pizza Ella, located at 7134 Campbell Road, suite A, right across from Campbell Green Park.

Brought to life by husband-and-wife duo Yehuda and Lital Alila, Pizza Ella isn’t just a new restaurant — it fills a need in the local Jewish community for more Kosher establishments. The couple, originally from Tzfat, Israel, are no strangers to the North Dallas restaurant scene. They’ve been running Meat Point, a popular Israeli steakhouse in the same shopping center, since 2013.

The handcrafted, stone-baked pizzas are made with premium ingredients, ensuring every bite is full of flavor and made with the finest ingredients. Because kosher laws require keeping meat and dairy separate, Pizza Ella focuses on vegetarian pizzas, with the exception of select fish toppings like anchovies and tuna. The flavors are still mighty and bold even without the pepperoni.

The menu is inspired by Israeli, Mediterranean, Turkish, and American influences. They offer both Neapolitan- and New York-style crusts, and even a few pizzas without cheese, as well as gluten-free options.

The menu is expansive with lots to select from, including New-York style cheese pizza, White pizza, Hawaiian Pizza, Vegetable Pizza, Mykonos Pizza, and more. Neapolitan pizzas include Margherita Pizza, Truffle Mushroom Pizza, Sweet Potato Pizza, and more.

Pizzas come in 12-inch, 16-inch, and 18-inch sizes, priced from $14 to $30, or grab a slice for around $4. Find fresh salads, family-style pastas (regular and gluten-free), and a morning menu of Israeli-style breakfasts, including Israeli shakshuka, borekas, and omelets from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Healthy salads and fries are served as well.

Pizzas are fired up from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with extended hours after sundown on Saturdays, in observance of the Sabbath, when they reopen from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.

Though most of their business is delivery and takeout, Pizza Ella does have a cozy 10-seat space for on-the-spot pizza cravings.
