Rogues Over the Top Pierogi, an Austin food truck, launched its first full-on service truck on September 7 at the Thicket food truck park in south Austin.
Pierogis are filled dumplings, wrapped in unleavened dough and cooked in boiling water, filled with various ingredients like potato, cheese, sauerkraut, ground meat, mushrooms, onions, fruits, or berries.
Feast your eyes on the truck’s innovative menu with delicious pierogi creations! Dive into the Pierogi Burger: a juicy beef patty seasoned with a hint of pastrami spice, nestled in a soft potato bun, and topped with a mix of Potato Cheese Pierogi, crisp onions and cabbage, and a house-made thousand island dressing. For those with a more adventurous palate, try the three pepperoni and cheese Pierogi, encased in squid ink dough, and paired with Kimchi Fried Rice, Salsa Macha Mayo, and zesty pickled peppers. Craving something sweet? The Blueberry and Lemon Custard Pierogi is your perfect match. Go for a traditional one by choosing the Original Rogues Gangster, which is a three golden potato and Gouda cheese pierogi, sautéed peppers and onions, horseradish cream, and pickled cabbage. That’s not it, there’s a vegan pierogi and a breakfast one, too.
