Talkin’ Tacos, a Miami-based fast-casual Mexican street food chain, launched its first Texas location on September 13 at Parkwood Village in Plano.

Talkin’ Tacos started its business in 2020 as a humble Miami-based food truck. The chain gained a cult following, thanks to its fresh ingredients and innovative menu options. Now, the Mexican chain has expanded rapidly in just a few years, operating 16 locations across Florida and the East Coast.

Plano’s 2,800 square foot restaurant can seat 60 guests inside and 40 guests in the outdoor seating area. The innovative menu boasts items like the signature Birria Taco, Carne Asada Tacos, Steak Al Pastor Tacos, and Southwest Chicken Tacos. More crowd favorites are the burritos, quesadillas, loaded fries, Birria Pizza, Birria Ramen, and a Taco Salad. The Beef Birria is one of the menu’s most popular dishes. It’s braised for 12 hours, creating a delicious, mouthwatering, and savory meat.
