Golden Chick, the Texas-born fried chicken favorite, has hatched a new concept: a 24-hour restaurant, the first of its kind for the chain. The inaugural location is now sizzling at 2828 E. Ledbetter Dr., right at the corner of Bonnie View Road.
For the first time ever, fans can get their fix of Golden Tenders or a big box of roasted chicken at any hour of the day.
Founded in 1967, Golden Chick has become a comfort food staple across the South, with more than 230 locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. This new Dallas spot isn’t just about staying open around the clock, it’s also rolling out an entirely new restaurant design and functionality, built for modern convenience and speed.
The new store is designed for flexibility, offering dine-in, drive-thru, or speedy pickup through a quick-access lobby, and new digital drive-thru menus. The kitchen is also optimized for third-party delivery apps like DoorDash and UberEats, so getting your order to your door is faster than ever.
The 24-hour restaurant will serve breakfast from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. Customers can order fried chicken and rolls, wings, and more during other business times.
Dig into your Golden Chick favorites from the famously crispy Golden Tenders and hand-breaded, U.S. farm-raised catfish to warm, fluffy yeast rolls, fiery Wicked Wings, and crave-worthy hand-breaded fried chicken. There’s also the savory Golden Roast Chicken and the towering Big & Golden Chicken Sandwich for those with serious appetites.
And now, there’s something new to crunch into: the Pimento Crunchwich Sandwich. This bold creation layers Golden Chick’s signature hand-breaded chicken with a creamy pimento cheese spread, crispy jalapeño strips, and thick-cut XL pickles, all stacked for a bite that’s loud in both flavor and texture. Get it a la carte for just $5.99 or make it a full meal with a Southern-style side and a 30-ounce drink for $8.99. Only available through August 3.
Strategically placed between Interstates 45 and 35, this location is set to serve both the local neighborhood and on-the-go commuters. Behind the counter is veteran franchisee Joseph Omobogie, who opened his first Golden Chick in Mesquite back in 2006 and is now leading the charge into this new 24-hour era.
