After five years as a popular pop-up, smash burger concept Boo’s Burgers has officially opened its first permanent location in Houston’s East End.
Boo’s Burger was built by native Houstonian Joseph Boudreaux who worked in the banking industry before being laid off in 2018. He decided to pursue his true passion for food and community and hosted several casual pop-ups, serving breakfast sandwiches and burgers.
Boo’s Burgers brings bold Texas flavor with its signature Boo’s OG, which is a crave-worthy smashburger made with premium ground beef from local ranchers at 44 Farms. Each burger is stacked with melty American cheese, shaved onions, spicy pickles, juicy tomatoes, and crisp shredded lettuce, all nestled inside a buttery challah bun from Houston’s own Cake and Bacon bakery. Topped off with Boo’s smoky signature sauce, it’s the ultimate burger.

The restaurant also offers the new Shroom Sammie, an alternative to the burger designed with vegetarians in mind. Marinated oyster mushrooms are fried and served on challah with lemon pepper wet sauce, garlic aioli, pickles and a cabbage-mustard green slaw.
The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Its hours are Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
