A new pizza concept with a strong online presence has expanded to North Texas. Burattino Pizza has opened its first Texas location in North Richland Hills, introducing Dallas–Fort Worth diners to the California concept known for bold toppings and crunchy thin-crust pies.
The new shop is located at 6305 Precinct Line Road, Suite 300, and marks the company’s first step into the Texas market. Burattino originally launched in 2016 in San Pedro, California, starting as a modest neighborhood pizza operation. In the years since, the brand has grown rapidly, thanks in part to a strong social media presence that helped its creative pizzas reach millions of viewers online.
The restaurant’s pizzas feature a crispy, thin crust designed to hold generous toppings. Pepperoni varieties are popular, with options including traditional pork pepperoni, beef pepperoni, and wild boar. One ingredient that appears throughout the menu is black garlic, a fermented form of garlic that has a deep color and a slightly sweet, mellow flavor.
Among the more notable pizzas are combinations like a pepperoni-and-olive pie with black garlic sauce, a white clam pizza topped with chopped clams and bacon, and a large specialty pie covered with more than 100 slices of pepperoni. Other options bring together ingredients such as chorizo, jalapeños, onions, and salsa-style sauces.

Another eye-catching item is a cheese lava pizza designed to overflow with melted cheeses both inside and on top of the crust, a presentation that has helped the brand gain attention through creative social media posts.
The menu extends beyond pizzas to include oversized calzones, salads, wings, and appetizers like mozzarella sticks. One of the larger calzone options is marketed as an extra-hearty meal meant for serious appetites.
Pizza prices start at around $13 for a simple cheese pie and rise into the upper $20 range for specialty pizzas and larger creations.
With its arrival in North Richland Hills, Burattino joins the growing lineup of national and regional pizza concepts expanding across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, bringing its distinctive crust style and social-media-friendly dishes to local diners.
