McKinney welcomed a fresh fast-casual concept that’s putting a new spin on salads. Bread Zeppelin officially opened a brand-new location on February 2, 2026, along South Custer Road in Frisco, bringing its signature approach of serving chopped salads inside warm, artisan baguettes.
Rather than offering traditional sandwiches, the restaurant centers its menu on what it calls a Zeppelin, which is a toasted baguette that is hollowed out and filled with crisp greens, vegetables, proteins, and house dressings. The result is a meal that is eaten like a sandwich but delivers the nutrition and health benefits of a specialty salad. Guests who prefer just a salad can order any menu item as a bowl instead of a sandwich.

The menu enables diners to build their own sandwiches and choose from popular menu staples like grilled chicken, shrimp, steak, fresh vegetables, salad trimmings, and bold dressings. Customers will find a huge selection with choices like Buffalo Chicken, Classic Caesar, Metro Cobb, the Lonestar with grilled flank steak, and more. Try the Chicken Tinga, a warm and hearty sandwich that includes saucy chicken, cilantro basmati rice, pickled red onions, corn salad, jalapenos, cotija, and kale. The restaurant also serves soups and desserts.
The McKinney opening continues Bread Zeppelin’s steady expansion across North Texas, where demand for fast-casual dining with healthier options continues to grow.
