A cozy new taco spot emerged in Oak Cliff, bringing authentic flavors to a busy corner. Donde los Tacos is a new mom-and-pop taqueria now open at 900 W. Davis Street. The spot used to be a gas station and the law office of a Dallas City Council member.
Behind the sizzling grill are husband-and-wife duo Martin and Jennifer Reyes, who wanted to create a truly authentic taco joint that measures up to customerās expectations.
The menu is full of true Mexican taco staples. They offer everything from juicy steak and tender marinated trompo pork to crispy fried shrimp, bold chorizo, grilled chicken, and slow-cooked signature suadero. Tacos start at just $3, and there is also a hot new menu item, quesabirrias, which is vegan friendly. Other favorites include creamy queso, fresh guacamole and chips, and smoky Mexican street corn. Taco Tuesday offers a budget-friendly $2 tacos. Their fun drink list includes palomas, micheladas, and a house margarita twist.

Inside, Donde los Tacos is small, cozy, and charming. It seats approximately 20 people surrounded by brick walls, red metal chairs, and a photo-filled mural celebrating the art of taco-making. Itās the kind of place that feels more like a neighborhood hangout than a restaurant.
