New Simulation Racing Lounge in Houston Enables Racing on the 610 Loop

Imagine if it was possible to race on the 610 Loop in Houston. Well, Houstonians can now race on the 610 Loop via the safety, fun, and excitement of simulation racing. They can also drive a dream car on a world-famous track, all on immersive racing simulators.

The first of its kind simulation racing destination in Texas called Velocity – Sim Racing Lounge, a new simulation racing center in Houston, has created a custom racing track of the 610 Loop. The lounge celebrates motor sports and car racing with 16 motion race simulators that are linked, so guests can race against friends and family, and other guests.

The lounge launched the 610 Challenge, a two-scale recreation of the 610 Loop in Houston. It’s 40 miles of virtual environment and a full motion system, providing an adrenaline power trip. The Challenge was created to celebrate Houston as a city, and includes every street sign, exit, bridge, and landmark.

Guests can also pick a 30-minute or 60-minute driving session, select from dozens of cars across multiple racing classes like GT3 or GT4, and drive on famous tracks from around the world, such as Circuit of the Americas and Suzuka Circuit. Guests can choose to race solo, against AI, or as a group.

When customers are in need of a pit stop, they can grab food and signature cocktails at the house bar and restaurant. Order shareables like a charcuterie board, chips and queso, and Tsukune meatballs.
