Get ready for a buzzy event that benefits a local organization that helps children and families. Abilene’s craft beer experience is happening September 21, 2024, at the Abilene Beer Summit. Enjoy the afternoon filled with over 100 craft beers from more than 40 global breweries. Join more than 2,000 attendees sampling a variety of brews, listening to live music, enjoying hometown cuisine, and checking out local vendors.
The event, located at 201 Mesquite Event Center, 201 Mesquite in Abilene, begins at 2 p.m. for the general admission gate pass. VIP Pass and Deluxe Pass holders can get in early at 1 p.m. The beer runs out at 6 p.m. with the last entry at 5:30 p.m.
Previous year breweries included Amber Dragon Meadery, Athletic Brewing, Avery Brewing Co., Big Country, Bishop Cider, Blue Moon Brewing, Boston Beer, Red Gap Brewing, Revolver Brewing, Saint Arnold Brewery, and more.
Listen and dance to live music by Caleb Sutton, The Foxfire Trio, and Brett Patterson. Enjoy food from Tacolote, Dragon Soul Hibachi, Urban Street Food, Crooked Creek Meats, and Bahama Bucks.
The Abilene Beer Summit benefits New Horizons, an organization that provides counseling and specialized treatment to children and families throughout Texas. For over 50 years, they have helped children who are suffering from emotional trauma due to abuse and neglect.

General tickets are $40 and include 12 beer samples, access to over 45 different breweries, and over 125 different craft beers. Participants can also buy 12 more beers for $5.
