Chef Scotty Scott, the mind behind the Fix Me a Plate cookbook, launched a unique cheese-focused eatery in Fort Worth this March named Abe Fromage, a homage to all things cheese. It’s short for Always Be Eating Fromage (ABEF).

The menu is filled with hand-crafted, made-to-order dishes that are a grilled cheese lover’s dream, featuring creative culinary items like a special Gouda grilled cheese, a grilled cheese with wagyu beef, and a grilled cheese with Smokeaholics pecan smoked chicken and provolone.

Customers can also get other sandwich creations, including a guacamole-topped hot dog, the Abe burger stacked with Havarti, and specials, such as bao chicken, a duck bacon BLT, and a pickled shrimp po’ boy. Sides include the duck fat roasted potatoes with Chimichurri Aioli and the duck bacon chopped wedge.
